UIDAI Warns Agencies Printing Plastic Aadhaar Cards Aadhaar Printed on Paper is more than valid
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has warned those online as well as offline unauthorized agencies who are taking orders of printing customers Aadhaar Card on plastic card calling it as smart card.
e-Aadhaar Card Copy downloaded from UIDAI Website can be printed on normal paper even in black and white will be valid as original card. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) also cleared that there is no concept like plastic card or smart card in Aadhaar Card and it is unnecessary.
UIDAI has also advised people not to share their personal details with such unauthorized agencies who are printing Aadhaar Card in PVC Plastic, instead you can take printout of the downloaded e-Aadhaar Card on normal paper whether it may be color or black and white it will be accepted as a valid original Aadhaar Card for all purposes. Also if a person has Aadhaar Printed on normal paper there is no need to get it laminated by paying money.
Several such agencies who print Aadhaar Card on plastic card calling it as smartcard as changing anywhere between Rs.50/- to Rs.200/- or more for printing.
Unauthorized agencies who are collecting such information for unauthorized printing of Aadhaar Card will be charged under criminal offence punishable with imprisonment under the IPC and, also, Chapter VI of The Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016.”

Now, you can link your Aadhaar Number with Benefit Cards Schemes other than LPG By SMS in some areas.
To link your Aadhaar Card Number with your Personal Identification Documents or Benefit Cards Schemes other than LPG By SMS in some areas.
- Go to Create New Message in Text Message Options in your mobile and Then type:
- UID SEED <State Short Code> <Scheme/Program Short Code> <Scheme/Program ID> <Aadhaar No>
- And Send SMS to 51969
For Example: UID SEED HR POSC 1234567 XXXXXXXXXXXX

How to Link your Unique 12 digit Aadhaar number with your LPG Consumer ID
Now, you can link your Aadhaar Number with your LPG Consumer ID for getting direct LPG Subsidy Benefit. Find information on Hindustan petroleum gas subsidy, indane gas subsidy, bharat gas subsidy or gas subsidy linked with aadhaar card. Find how to link bharat gas with aadhar, indane gas with aadhar card, hp gas with aadhar card etc online.
To link your Aadhaar Card Number with your LPG Gas Consumer ID Online you have to follow some instructions and have to fill some information online.
• Enter URL in web Browser: https://rasf.uidai.gov.in/seeding/User/ResidentSplash.aspx
• When web page opens Click on Start Now.
• Then Select your aadhaar address location like State & District.
• Then enter your details like mainly Aadhaar No., Email ID & Mobile Number.
• Then in Choose benefit Type Select LPG for linking LPG with Aadhaar Number, after that select Scheme Name like BPCL, IOCL, HPCL.
• Then Select Distributor Name and in next section Enter Consumer Number
• After completing the form, Click Submit.
• Then you have to enter the One Time Password No. that will be sent to your mobile and the Security code displayed.
• Click Submit.

• Then Select your aadhaar address location like State & District.
• Then enter your details like mainly Aadhaar No., Email ID & Mobile Number.
• Then in Choose benefit Type Select LPG for linking LPG with Aadhaar Number, after that select Scheme Name like BPCL, IOCL, HPCL.
