How to Enroll New Born Babies for Aadhaar Card


For New Born Babies a special Aadhaar Enrollment Software has been created to register thee births with enrollment of Aadhaar Card. Which means as soon as baby gets born they will now have their Aadhaar Number. In Hyderabad the UIDAI team had visited the hospital to test the software by enrolling child’s for Aadhaar Card as well as in in Guntur Government General Hospital UIDAI team enrolled five new born babies for Aadhaar Card and they were also provided with the Aadhaar Card at same time as a token of scheme launch.

For enrolling new born babies they need data like date of birth, gender, and parents are registered along with enrollment of Aadhaar Card. After enrolling the Enrollment UID Number is generated and sent to parent’s registered mobile number. Later on the Birth Certificate which you get of your new born baby will also contain the UID Number with Birth Registration Number. Once 21 days passes and after naming ceremony of the new born baby you can walk in to local Mee Seva Kendra to update the name of the baby in Aadhaar.

And once the child attends 5 years of age the bio-metrics will be captured like Iris and thumb impressions.
