You need to submit Documents for change of – Name, Date of Birth and Address. However, Change in Gender and E-mail ID do not require any document.

- Visit the portal at-www.uidai.gov.in
- Now enter your AADHAAR Number and Text verification number.
- Now click on send OTP.
- You’ll receive an One Time Password on your mobile number.
- Enter the One Time Password and proceed.
- Now select the Change Name / Surname field.
- Fill the correct details in English as well as local language in the fields
- Now upload the any of the proof of your correction.
After above process you will be given URN number, please keep this number to track your update request progress.
