?How to Add Mobile Number to Aadhaar Card?
In case you have not registered your mobile number then you have to visit the nearest Enrolment Centre or send your Update request through Post for registering your mobile number because UIDAI has stopped facility to add mobile online.If you haven’t registered your mobile with Aadhar or you have lost or do not possess your Aadhar registered mobile number anymore, you will have to either visit nearest Aadhar Update Centre or send your Aadhar Update request through Post for update your data in Aadhar.
?Steps to update the Aadhar data using offline method:
- First of all visit Aadhar Card update portal by clicking this link:https://resident.uid
ai.net.in/up... - Then Click on Download Form button.
- Note: Check the instructions here by UIDAI for residents who will send the update request by post.
- All the details should be filled in capital letters only. Keep in mind to give your working mobile number as it is compulsory.
- Whatever information you want to get updated whether it is your name, address, Date of Birth or anything add self-attested photocopies of the documents.
- Note: Fill the form in English as well as in the local language which was used during the time of your enrolment in Aadhar. Check the detailed article on how to fill the Aadhar Card form.
- On each document do write your 12 digits Aadhar number that is issued to you by UIDAI.
- Put all the details in an envelope and seal it properly using glue. In clear letters mention “Aadhaar Update/Correction” on the envelope and it should be properly readable.

Aadhaar Update Request through Post offline
You can update/change the following details connected to your Aadhaar:
1. Name
2. Date of Birth
3. Address
4. Gender
5. Mobile Number
To update/correct your Aadhaar details follow these steps:
1. Click here to download the Aadhaar Data Update/Correction Form
2. Fill up the form completely in capital letters only and filling up of your Mobile number is compulsory.
3. Based on the type of detail to be updated, attach self-attested copies of the relevant documents along with the application form.

4. Write your 12-digit Aadhaar number on every document you are sending through post.
5. Seal the envelop properly and write “Aadhaar Update/Correction” on top of the envelop.
6. Send the envelop to one of the appropriate address given below as per your local language.
