How to Boot Sony VAIO from CD
You can boot your Sony VAIO Windows computer from a CD in the event you want to either restore your computer back to the original factory settings, install missing drives, or correct any malfunctions that occur on behalf of a virus or malware.
1.Power on your Sony VAIO computer.
2.Insert the CD you want used to boot your computer into the optical disk drive.
3.Power off your computer.
4.Power your computer back on, and press F11 repeatedly as it boots up. Your computer will automatically boot up through the CD you inserted into the drive.
- If you inserted the Startup Recovery Disc, the Sony VAIO Recovery Wizard will automatically display on-screen when the computer boots up and walk you through restoring your system.
