Instead The Ministry of Rural Development said that it is a duty of MGNREGA Programme Officer in the States to assist employees to get Aadhaar Card’s.

On 23rd September 2013 the Supreme Court had passed an order that “no person should suffer for not getting Aadhaar Card”, and now this is the infringement of the Supreme Court order on not paying wages of the workers for not obtaining Aadhaar Card’s in Khunti district of Jharkhand.
