How to Change Icon Pictures and Names on Macbooks
You want to hide Skype? Change the picture of your folder? This is how!
1.To change the picture of a folder or application, highlight that folder/application and press command+i. when you get there, there will be two pictures. One small at the top towards the left, and one larger one at the bottom.
2.Go to whatever picture you want, open it with preview, highlight the section of the picture you want (or just highlight the entire picture).
3.Press command+c click on the small picture at the top right on the Info tab, and it should be surrounded by a light thing.
4.Now press command+v and it has the picture!
5.To change the name is very simple. You can either highlight the folder/application and press enter and type in the name you want, or two finger tap (or right click) and press "rename."
