How to Expand System Partition in Windows Server 2003
Your computer can benefit from expanding the system partition when you need extra space on C drive. By expanding your system partition, your computer will get extra space that is not being used by other partitions. Expanding system partition can be performed on any computer with Windows operate system. In this method, there is no need to purchase partition management software and to reinstall system. Windows Server 2003 machines are widely used in all kinds of company for their the guaranty of security and secrecy. However, Disk Management in Windows Server 2003 does not support resizing and moving partition only to ask for Partition Magic. Acronis Disk Director, EaseUs Partition Master, AOMEI Partition Assistant Lite Edition, the first two brand are well known and well marketed, I will introduce the last one for I am testing it. The following information can tell you how to use it.
1.Install and launch AOMEI Partition Assistant Lite Edition.
Then, right click on D partition and select "Resize Partition".
In the pop-up window, drag the right slider bar leftwards to shrink D partition.
2.Click "OK" and you can find an unallocated space has been generated from D partition. Then, right click on D partition and select "Move Partition". In the pop-up window, drag the slider bar to the right side.
3. Click "OK" and you can find the unallocated space locates behind C drive. Then, right click on C partition and select "Resize Partition".
In the pop-up window, drag the slider bar till the right side. Then, click OK to continue.
4.Now you can preview system partition of Windows Server 2003 has been expanded. To save
the changes, click "Apply" on the toolbar.
